1. What information do we collect and what do we do with it?
When you enroll as a learner on our site for one or more of our courses, as part of the enrolling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name and email address. We do not store payment information. Payment information is handled by our secure payment partners, either PayPal or Stripe (more information on payment processing in section 3).
2. How do you get my consent and for what purpose is my information used?
When you provide us with personal information to become a learner on our site, make a purchase, or participate in the course, you imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only, which may include notifying you of information about a course start date or change, progress about your course, request to complete a course evaluation, or for your opinion about our platform or usage of materials.
We may also send you marketing-related emails about upcoming and current courses at Art History for Real.
How do I withdraw my consent?

3. Thinkific
Our course and site are hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with the online course creation platform that allow us to sell our product/services to you.
Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment:
If you make a purchase on our site, we use a third-party payment processor Stripe and PayPal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
